It is a phrase made by Kiyoshi Atsumi. Originally, when he was recuperating from pulmonary tuberculosis for three years, he wrote a short poem as a consolation, which seemed to have triggered him to start writing haiku. However, when I read it again, I feel a fresh impression even now that such a soft and wonderful sensibility was hidden inside him, who looked like a tough person.
The fact that the new members of the literary club and the two of them got along beyond the position of star actors was a natural result of the sympathies and attraction between the people with excellent sensibilities. Inoue showed his ability to the fullest and continued writing excellent scripts one after another. Part of his immense talent was brought to fruition in the process of creating works for actors who fell in love with him like this, and I think it was the same for Atsumi, who was inspired by the power of Inoue’s pen and polished his art more and more, and grasped the opportunity for his later breakthrough.
It is said that people meet with nature when they need it, learn everything from each other, and then break up again naturally. Not long after Atsumi was recruited into the world of film, Inoue also left Franco-za.
